Built by a driver

Designed in a driver's seat in San Antonio.

Carlos Ayala eats lunch and does paperwork in his vehicle every day. He invented DeskDrive Pro around what he actually needed, and nothing he didn't, then developed it at 10BitWorks, San Antonio's community makerspace, with help from Don Smeller.

The bottom section opens on magnetic closures to reveal an internal compartment that holds paperwork and a tablet or phone. A top slot also lets you slide paperwork straight into storage.
How does the phone bar work?
A removable bar clips across the front of the board to hold your phone higher up, so it stays visible while you write.
